Derek Roberts
Following the retirement of noted antique clock dealer and author Derek Roberts
at the beginning of 2018, I am pleased to announce that we have taken over the
running of Derek’s business, Derval Antiques, with the stock appearing on both
this website and www.dervalantiques.com.
Edenbridge Galleries Talk
At the end of November 2015 I spent a wonderful weekend with Lennox & Sue
Cato at the Edenbridge Galleries in Kent showing a selection of carriage clocks and
giving a lecture on the clocks and lives of both the Jacot and Drocourt families. It
was lovely to catch up with my old mentor Derek Roberts and spend a couple of
evenings discussing the clock world.
British Horological Institute: Talk on carriage Clocks
I had a most wonderful evening giving a talk on the carriage clocks and lives of
both the Jacot and Drocourt families to the South-London branch of the British
Horological Institute in June 2017.
